W. McCleeary

Dean W. McCleeary, 99, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines. Dean was born in Des Moines on June 8, 1915. He proudly served his country during WWII in the Pacific Theater. On November 24, 1947 he was united in marriage to Edna Cooper and they were blessed with four children. He is survived by his wife Edna and his children; Steven (Ruth), Robert (JoAnn), Susan (Rick) Cox and Carol (John) Linnan; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson. Dean is preceded in death were his parents; Alfred and Mary McCleeary ;brother, Chester and infant sister Marjorie.
Visitation for Dean will be from 6:00 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Eastside Church of The Nazarene, 1451 E. 25th St. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Eastside Church of The Nazarene, 1451 E. 25th St. in Des Moines.
