Scott Kibbe

Scott Edwin Kibbe passed away on June 6, 2022 in Des Moines, Iowa. A visitation for Scott will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 10:00-12:00pm at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Scott was born May 8, 1959 in Des Moines to Floyd and Mildred (Rodish) Kibbe. He worked for Unity Point for almost 20 years. Scott enjoyed spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren. In addition, he enjoyed hunting and anything with a motor. Scott's family fondly remembers stopping at every car and motorcycle museum along their vacation route. His family and friends will also miss his humor, creative problem solving and "Scottism's."

Scott is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Michelle (Ole), Eric (Tessa), and Kara (Justin); grandchildren, Maya and Liam; sister, Mary Milligan Abrahamson; step-brothers, Mike Looker and Dennis Looker; step-sister, Sue Williamson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Floyd Kibbe Jr. and Henry Kibbe; step- brother, Jim Looker; and grandson, Askel Kibbe Balling.
