Priscilla JoAnne Gray

Priscilla JoAnn Gray of Carlisle, Iowa passed away at Iowa Lutheran Hospital on Thursday, November 15, 2018. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm Sunday, November 18, 2018 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Monday, November 19, 2018 at the Carlisle United Methodist Church.. Burial will follow services on Monday in the Carlisle City Cemetery. A Luncheon will be served at the United Methodist Family Life Center following the burial.
Priscilla attended two years of college as a music major and continued her love of music throughout her life. She spent the majority of her career dedicated to this love of music. Priscilla held multiple positions in the church and spent many hours teaching others to play piano and sing in the choir. Priscilla was always found orchestrating hymns during Sunday Services. In addition, she played piano and organ for the Church. She directed children's choirs, adult choirs and played a main role in the Church's holiday performances. Priscilla shared her love of music to both her sons as well as many of the Church members.
