Peggy Joyce Virden

Peggy Joyce Virden age 93, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020. Graveside services for Peggy will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Carlisle City Cemetery with Pastor Clifford Haider officiating.

Peggy was born in Des Moines, Iowa on February 9, 1927 to James and Ella (Cook) Adams. Peggy graduated from East High School in 1945. Peggy was an avid reader and enjoyed playing dice games with her friends. She worked as office manager for Schabel Trucking for many years.

Peggy is survived by her 2 children, Nancy(Dennis)Baysinger and Mark(Dawn)Virden, brother Fred Adams, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ella Adams and her husband of 52 years, Herman Virden.
