Nita Littrell

Nita Littrell, a beacon of light to all who knew her, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2026. Born in Birmingham, Alabama on January 6, 1966, she touched the lives of many with her kindness, passion, and indomitable spirit. Her spirit will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

Nita's legacy is not solely defined by her roles as a loving mother and sister, but also by her relentless dedication to her family. She was a woman of strength, wisdom, and patience, who always put others before herself. Nita showed us all that love is not just a feeling, but a way of life. Her unwavering faith in the Lord saw her through life's trials and tribulations, and she left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Nita is survived by her beloved children Brandon Littrell (Hannah), Bryan Lipiec, Bradley Lipiec, Kira Lipiec, and her cherished siblings, Jonathan "Rusty" Littrell, Alfred Dupree, Rita Littrell, Jimmy Dupree (Regina), Allean DuShane (David), Heather Taylor (Doug), Joe Barton, as well as many nieces and nephews and many beloved friends whom she considered family. Each of them held a special place in Nita's heart, and she in theirs. Nita's love for her family was boundless, her devotion unwavering.

Nita's life was a journey of love, laughter, and enduring friendships. Her memory lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
