Nancy L. Wray-Turner

Nancy L. Wray-Turner passed away on December 25, 2014 at the Bright Kavanaugh House in Des Moines, Iowa. Nancy was born in Coon Rapids, Iowa November 22, 1932. Nancy was preceded in death by her ex-husbands: Harry Wray and Charlie Turner, her parents Daniel Weaver and Kathryn Barnaske, brother Daniel Weaver, sister Patricia Schwartz. Nancy is survived by her son Robert Wray, grandson Justin Nelson, granddaughter Emma George, sister Mary Lou Johnson, step brother Gary Hobbs and Special Friend Froggy Van Gorp (Elbert). Nancy retired as a R.N. from Warren County Public Health Services, before that she worked for 27 years at Firestone. Nancy was a member of the U.M.E. Church in Pella, O.E.S, Za Ga Zig Shrine Auxillary, Force-1 and a Hospice of Pella Volunteer. Visitation will be Thursday January 1, 2015 from 5-7p.m. at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle, Iowa. Funeral Services will be at 2:00p.m. Friday January 2, 2015 at Peterson Funeral Home with burial at the Carlisle City Cemetery. Memorials for Nancy can be made out to the Carlisle Fire Department.
