Myron Lee "Pete" Freeman passed away at his home in New Virginia on January 24, 2019. A visitation will be held Friday, February 1, 2019 from 5-7pm at the Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. \nPete was born February 3, 1971 in Des Moines to Gerald and Waltraud "Jo" Freeman. He attended Clarke Community Schools in Osceola. Pete was a truck driver with Alan Ritchey Inc. Anyone who knew him knew of his passion for motorcycles. He was certainly a gear head. Pete always drove everything like he stole it...whether it was his or not!\nPete is survived by his daughter Cierra Lewis, his mother Jo, sister Karen, brothers; Gerald (Jennifer), John (Ruby), and Sandy (Lisa), two grandchildren, eight nephews, five nieces, and countless other family and friends.\nHe was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. \nIn Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to FAST (Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics) in memory of Myron Freeman and Jamie Berkley.
