Miranda May Miles

Miranda May Miles, age 22, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 in Iowa City. Funeral services for Miranda will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Interment will follow in Carlisle City Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 PM, Monday, February 12, 2018 at Peterson Funeral Home.

Miranda was born on March 31, 1995 in Des Moines, Iowa to Mark Miles and Janet Freeborn. Miranda was a graduate of Indianola High School. She worked as a pharmacy technician for Walgreens.

Miranda was a person that was so full of life, and always lit up a room with her smile. She loved making people laugh and spending time with her family and friends.

Miranda is survived by her Mother, Janet(Joe Stephen)Freeborn of Des Moines; siblings, Michael Miles and Heather Miles; extended family, (sisters and brother) Brittany, Nichole, Jared and Troy Roudolf (step dad) , as well as step sisters Brittany (Chris) Blood, and Alexis Stephen, and a nephew Johnathon. She also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Miranda was preceded in death by her father, Mark Miles and her grandparents.
