Miranda May Miles, age 22, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 in Iowa City. Funeral services for Miranda will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle. Interment will follow in Carlisle City Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 PM, Monday, February 12, 2018 at Peterson Funeral Home. Miranda was born on March 31, 1995 in Des Moines, Iowa to Mark Miles and Janet Freeborn. Miranda was a graduate of Indianola High School. She worked as a pharmacy technician for Walgreens. Miranda was a person that was so full of life, and always lit up a room with her smile. She loved making people laugh and spending time with her family and friends. Miranda is survived by her Mother, Janet(Joe Stephen)Freeborn of Des Moines; siblings, Michael Miles and Heather Miles; extended family, (sisters and brother) Brittany, Nichole, Jared and Troy Roudolf (step dad) , as well as step sisters Brittany (Chris) Blood, and Alexis Stephen, and a nephew Johnathon. She also had many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Miranda was preceded in death by her father, Mark Miles and her grandparents. Memorials for Miranda may be made to her family.
