Maxine age 83, passed away March 13, 2011 after a time of declining health.

Born in Des Moines she had been an Indianola resident for most of her life. Her working years were spent as a bookkeeper for The Indianola Record-Herald. She belonged to First United Methodist Church, BPW, and the Red Hat Society.

Preceding in death were her parents; husband Robert Jones and three sisters. Surviving is her son and his wife Jeffrey and Cindi Jones of Willard, Missouri; three grandchildren, one great grandchild and a sister Marian Lyman of Altoona, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola.Visitation is going to be the same day from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to services. Following a luncheon burial will be in Belmont Cemetery near Milo. Iowa.
