Bernice Putz
Bernice Putz, age 97, of Indianola, IA, who resided in Kirby, AR passed away on March 19th, 2014.

She was born on April 5th, 1916, at Zell, South Dakota, the daughter of Clyde and Martha Parrish. On August 17th, 1938 she was married to Vernon Albert Putz who preceded her in death on December 21, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Ross Davis, her daughter-in-law Bonnie Davis, her brothers Orn Parrish, Ruben Parrish, Gaylord Parrish and Russell Parrish, her sisters Fairie Clark and Elizabeth Clark, and two granddaughters, Rhonda Kay Murtle and Michelle Davis Phillips.

She was a homemaker and a very good seamstress.

She is survived by her two sons and their spouses, Kermit and JoAnn Davis of Mesa, AZ, Eugene and Angela Putz of Kirby, AR and one daughter and son-in-law Cleta and Rod Murtle of Madrid, IA; three grandsons and spouses Steve and Teresa Davis of Phoenix, AZ, Mike and Penny Putz of Lodi, AR, and Doug and Mel Murtle of Humboldt, IA; three granddaughters Pam Grote of Tuscon, AZ; Tammy Morton of Indianola, IA, Terrie Reichling and spouse Jerry of Johnston, IA ;18 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren; one sister and spouse Bonnie and Dick Stills of Martensdale, IA.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25th, 2014 in the Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola, Iowa with Bro. Gerald McElwee.

Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. before the service at Petersons Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola, Iowa.
Pallbearers will be Dean Clark, Dick Pace, Bruce Stills, Kelly Clark, Duane Clark, Dwight Clark

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Matthew Hulsey and staff, Oak Park Retirement Center and the Glenwood Nursing Home.
