\nLori Lynn Jordan, passed away surrounded by family on May 20, 2023 at the age of 59. She was born to Tom and Shirley Brommel on February 17, 1964 and was a graduate of Interstate 35 High School. She married Todd Jordan, and together they had three children. For the last 30 years, she had found a partner in Brad Seymour. \n\nTime spent with family and friends mattered the most to Lori. She said being a grandma was the best part of life. She was known for her ability to find the perfect gift for any occasion or just because she saw something that she knew you would like. She was no stranger to DIY (or having Seymour execute her vision), if what she was looking for was not available off the shelf. Whether it was helping to plan or decorate a wedding, baby shower, or other life event, Lori was the go-to creative director for her family and friends. She talked frequently about memories made during Brommel Girl weekends and loved to host at her pool in the summer, which was sometimes referred to as "LJ's Bed and Breakfast Pool and Spa."\n\nHer creativity, thoughtfulness, and her big heart were displayed in nearly everything she did. Lori touched many lives in the community, contributing her time to various organizations over the years as a little league coach, Jackson Hilltoppers 4-H club leader, and participating in numerous committees and clubs at Interstate 35. She always had ideas for making things better. She filled her time shopping, crafting and sewing, gardening, cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes, camping, and boating. She spent countless hours contributing to Pink Tractor Foundation. \n\nHer relentless personality was evident in her nearly 16-year battle with cancer. She never let her diagnosis slow her down or define the way she lived her life. She would be proud to know that she served as an inspiration for so many that are facing a similar battle. When you hear "Livin' on a Prayer," think of Lori. \n\nOh, we've gotta hold on, ready or not\nYou live for the fight when that's all that you've got\n\nLori is survived by her significant other, Brad Seymour; children, J.T.
