Joy J. Schreiber

Joy J. Schreiber, age 84, passed away April 18, 2009 at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center of complications from a stroke.

Born in Clarke County, she has resided in Indianola since 1950. She was a long time elementary school teacher retiring in 1986.

Funeral services for Joy will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. Visitation begins after 2 p.m. Tuesday with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Daryl; and sister, Jewell Clark. Survivors are her daughters, Barbara (Mike) Axel of Tampa, FL, and Linda (David) Anfinson of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Joy was a member of the First Baptist Church, O.E.S., N.E.A. and Warren County Education Association.
