She was born December
28, 1916 to Edward and
Lizzie Fest and made a
public profession of her
faith in Jesus Christ as her
Lord and Savior in 1930.
She was preceded in death
by her first husband Orvel
Fry; twin daughters who
died at birth; her parents;
her brothers George and
Gust Fest and sister Wilma
Fest Smith.
She is survived by her
husband, John Putney of
Greenfield Manor Nursing
Home; daughter Beverly
Fry Roe(Harold) of Martensdale;
sons Larry Fry
(Rita) of Birmingham, AL
and Lowell Fry (Sue) of
Grenada, MS; brothers
Vernon Fest(Reta)of Liberty,
MO and Clarence
Fest(Lola) of Windsor, CO
and eight grand-children
and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be
held at 11 a.m. Friday April
24 , 2009 at Van Wert
Assembly of God Church
with visitation at 10 a.m.
until service time. Peterson
Funeral Home, Indianola,
IA is in charge.
Interment will be in the
Van Wert Iowa Cemetery.
