JIM WALTER ROCK Hartford Jim Walter Rock went to be with the lord on Wednesday March 24, 2010. Visitation will be at Peterson Funeral home and will start at 5 p.m. on Friday March 26, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 11a.m. Saturday March 27, 2010, at Petersons Funeral Home in Carlisle Iowa. Jim was born April 13, 1942 in Des Moines Iowa. He was a Navy Veteran. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Lorraine Rock. Jim is survived by many loving people including his dear wife of 36 years Gayle Rock, children Trudy (Mark) Crawford, David Rock, and Philip Rock, sisters Marilyn Thomas and Jeanne Rock, grandchildren Ashley (Mike) Reese, Amanda Deaton (Justin Sibert), and Sean Crawford. Also many nieces and nephews.
