Jill Joanne Kroneman Obituary (1938 - 2020)

Jill Joanne Kroneman, 82, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 in Indianola IA. Survived by her son, Matt and (wife) Amanda; three grandchildren Lidia, Austin, and Josh; brother Leroy; and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Orlin Kroneman, her parents Howard and Rowena Sheeley, brother Fredrick and sister Shirley. Jill was born in Pocahontas IA, the daughter of Howard and Rowena Sheeley. She moved to Indianola IA in 2006 to be near her grandchildren. Jill graduated from Pocahontas High School and attended Hamilton College in Mason City IA. She met her husband, Orlin, at the Surf Ball Room in Clear Lake IA and they were married in 1957 at the Presbyterian Church in Pocahontas IA. Jill retired from Metalcraft after 41 years as an accountant. She enjoyed touring and traveling to Ireland, Hawaii, Disney World, Seattle Washington, Quebec, Yellowstone and a Caribbean cruise. Her passion was her grandchildren. Jill enjoyed dancing, bowling, playing pool and socializing. Jill is loved by her family and will be greatly missed. A private family inurnment is planned at the Iowa Veteran's Cemetery in Adel August 20th where Jill will be laid to rest next to her husband Orlin.
