Fay Forrester Obituary (1943 - 2012)

Marlene Forrester passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2012 at her home in Palatine, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2012 at Peterson Funeral home in Carlisle with cremation to follow services. Marlene was born on September 25, 1943 in Sac City, Iowa to Roscoe and Mary (Jarvis) Spurling. Marlene worked for Eastern Airlines most of her career. Marlene loved to travel and go to the casino with her best friend. She also loved gardening, watching reality TV shows, and spending time with her family. Marlene's greatest quality was her inner beauty. Marlene is survived by her brothers Jim Spurling of Carlisle, Bill (Kip) Spurling of Sac City and Bob (Pat) Spurling of Thousand Oaks,CA.; sisters Kay Carnine of Des Moines and Jean (John) Cosby of North Ridge, CA; along with many nieces and nephews. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter L. Forrester, and her niece Colleen Spurling.
