Mrs. Edna Lucille Champlin age 89, of Indianola passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009, at Westview Care Center.

Lucille was born in South Dakota and grew up near Sandyville, moving to Indianola in 1937. She married Jasper Champlin in Princton, MO. and they have been married for 72 years.

Her survivors include her husband Jasper; two sons Larry (Alice) Champlin and Freddie (Sue Champlin) Champlin all of Indianola; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. Preceding in death are her parents; seven siblings; and grandson Brent Alan Champlin May 24, 2009.

Visitation will start Tuesday afternoon with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2009, also at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Indianola I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Memorials will go to the Indianola Friends Church, of which she was a member.
