Edmund Jensen,

Victor E. Jensen Sr. age 72, the son of Edmund and LaVera (Hansen) Jensen was born in Harlan, Iowa May 19, 1941 and passed away Monday, June 3, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Victor attended country school near Harlan, Iowa and City school in Gray and Audubon, Iowa. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1958,. was honorably discharged in 1960, married the mother of his three sons, Darlene Reinart on Dec. 2, 1961. Victor and his family moved to Carroll, Iowa in 1974 and worked a career for Crouse Cartage as a truck driver and dispatcher until retirement. He soon moved to Indianola, Iowa and married Jean Ann Ball in 1999 where he has been living since. Vic was currently a driver for Hy-Vee in Indianola .Survivors include his wife Jean Ann; 3 sons, Greg Jensen, Scott (Anna) Jensen and Victor Jensen Jr.; three step-children, Craig Ball, Cheryl Ball and Carla (Kirk) Larson; six siblings, Emily Aikman (Ted), Norma Randazzo (Sam), Daryl Jensen (Jean), Duane Jensen (Lisa), Nancy Moore (Bill), Mark Jensen; Six grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 at Peterson Funeral Home in Indianola. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Indianola.
