Donna Williamson

Donna Elzetta Williamson (née Isley) of Indianola, Iowa passed away Friday, October 2, 2026 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa at the age of 66. Donna was born in Albia, Iowa on April 26, 1960 to Joan Wallace and Lester Isley. She was raised in Hamilton, Iowa by her mother Joan and her maternal grandmother Alice DeWitt Wallace until the early 1980's when she moved to Knoxville, Iowa. Donna graduated from Twin Cedars High School with the class of 1978. Donna married Jeff Williamson in 1984 and moved to Indianola, Iowa. They conceived two sons and a daughter and were later divorced. In 1978 Donna began a 45-year career for the State of Iowa and retired in 2024. Donna is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Joan and Harold Dieken, and her father Lester Isley. She is survived by her children Matthew Williamson, Samantha Schooler (née Williamson), and Jacob Williamson; her granddaughters Zarriah Combs and McKenzie Schooler; and her brother William Isley. As per Donna's wishes, her body has been cremated.
