Donna Jones

With a heart full of the warmest memories, we celebrate the life of Donna Jean Jones. Born on the 5th of May, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa, Donna was a beacon of love and compassion. She was a loving wife, a supportive mother, and a compassionate friend. She was a woman whose spirit was as vibrant as the flowers in May, her birth month. Donna, a woman who cherished every moment with her family, passed away on the 5th of June, 2025. Her strength, love, and warmth will continue to inspire all of us.

Donna’s heart was full of love for her family, friends, and her beloved cat Zoey. She was a devoted wife to Lloyd Jones, a loving mother to her three daughters, Tiffany Campbell, Tabetha(Juan) Delos Reyes, and Tonja Grijalva, as well as a doting grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a cherished daughter to Gloria(Gene) Bouvier. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Donald Owens, and her son, David Kintz. As Mother Teresa once said, “Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.” This was the mantra that Donna lived by, touching everyone with her kindness. Her love for her family was apparent in everything she did, and her legacy will continue to shape their lives.

Donna was a hard worker, dedicating many years to labor. When she wasn't working, she was either spending quality time with her family or pampering her cat Zoey. Donna's home in Des Moines, where she lived for 64 years, was filled with love and laughter that will echo in our hearts forever.

The memorial service will be held on Friday, 13th of June, 2025, at 6:00 pm CDT at the venue located at 415 School Street, Carlisle, Iowa, 50047.
