Delores C. Thornton Indianola, Iowa Delores C. Thornton, age 75, of Indianola, Iowa passed away Monday, February 1, at The Taylor House in Des Moines, Iowa. Delores lived in Indianola since 1972. Delores was a wonderful mother and homemaker. Delores is survived by her former husband; Leo Thornton, four sons; Steve Thornton of Urbandale, Kelly (Donna) Thornton of Benton Kentucky, Rob (Kris) Thornton of Atlantic Iowa, Mark (Amanda) Thornton of Nashville Tennessee; one sister; Lorna Pearson of Omaha Nebraska, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 5, 2010 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses; 1100 south K St Indianola, Iowa at 1:00 p.m. for funeral services. Burial will follow at Linn Grove Cemetery, in rural Norwalk, Iowa on Highway 28 at Fulton St. Memorials may be made to the Family in Delores's Name.
