David Baber

David R. Baber, 68 of Carlisle was freed from his long battle with Parkinson's on May 9, 2014. Memorial Visitation for Dave will be Thursday May 15, 2014 from 5-8p.m. at Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle, Iowa. Dave lived most of his life in Carlisle except for a 6 year period (1982-1988) in Colorado Springs, CO. He retired from construction in 2006. David was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed traveling, fishing and hunting.
David is survived by a son Travis (Dana) Baber; a daughter , Kerry Huddleson; and step-daughters Lindsay and Shawna Bartholomew; Two brothers, Denny Baber of Carlisle, IA and Eric Baber of Calimesa, CA; sister Bobbie Maness of Irving, TX; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
