Brian Bickford

–

Carlisle, Iowa

Brian Lee Bickford began his journey of life on the 30th of August 1969. His journey came to a gentle rest on the 3rd of September 2026. As we mourn his departure, we also celebrate the vibrant life he lived, his unique qualities, and the indelible mark he left on the hearts of many. Brian was a person of extraordinary character, whose life echoed the words of Albert Einstein, "Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile."

Brian's life was a testament to this quote. His boundless compassion, infectious humor, and tenacious spirit made him irreplaceable in the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. His zest for life was infectious, and his strength and resilience inspired everyone around him. He was a devoted friend, a confidant, a mentor, and a beacon of hope for many. His indomitable spirit and the memories he forged will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Brian is survived by his loving sister, Debra Davis, who was not only his sibling but also his closest confidante and friend. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Betty and Harold Bickford and two sisters Susan Jennings and Jane Dick. The breadth of his impact is beyond what words can encapsulate, and his legacy will continue to resonate in the lives he touched. As Mark Twain once said, “The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.” Brian lived life to the fullest, and we will forever cherish the memories we created with him.

We invite everyone who was touched by Brian to share their memories and upload photos on his memorial page. It is through these shared experiences that we can continue to celebrate Brian's life and keep his memory alive.
